Project overview
Desi Anime brings anime discovery and editorial publishing into one website. Public anime and movie sections sit alongside a blog, search and genre navigation, giving visitors several ways to find relevant content.
The blog module supports titles, excerpts, cover images, rich-text articles, author attribution and publication controls. Draft and published states give editors a clear publishing workflow. Watchlists, comments and ratings add an account-based community layer, while a dedicated dashboard keeps content administration separate from the public website.
Design and development approach
Django applications separate editorial content, catalogue discovery, accounts and community features. Consistent navigation connects these sections, while the blog’s article structure supports readable long-form content. The homepage preview shows the local catalogue interface; the editorial module is ready for its first published posts.
