Project overview
A school needs a welcoming public website and a practical workspace for its daily administration. This project combines the Greenfield school website with a dedicated portal for administrators, staff, teachers, students and parents.
The data model includes people, classrooms, subjects, lessons, assignments, exams, results and attendance. Billing and document workflows sit alongside these academic records, with additional support for events and expenses. The public homepage gives families a separate, approachable introduction to the school.
Design and development approach
The public website and school portal serve different audiences within the same Django project. A welcoming homepage introduces the school community, while structured records organize academic and administrative work. Separate roles for administrators, staff, teachers, students and parents provide the framework for each audience’s portal experience.
